The Messenger Rooms feature that Facebook launched last month went live a few days ago and is now being incorporated into the Facebook-owned WhatsApp.
Facebook has introduced Messenger Rooms in WhatsApp for Android with the 2.20.163 beta update, according to a study by WABetaInfo. The update brings the sharing menu inside the chat with a new "Room" option, which will direct you to Messenger to create a room for a group video call with up to 50 people.

The shortcut to build a Messenger Room can also be found in other parts of WhatsApp, such as the Calls tab.
This feature is currently only available in a few countries to a limited number of beta users, including the US, but it should be expanding to more countries soon.

If you are interested in trying this feature, by heading this way, you can enroll in the beta program, or simply download and install from a reliable source a WhatsApp beta version 2.20.163 for Android.
