A battle royale game is an online multiplayer genre of video games that combines the combat, discovery, and scavenging elements of a game of combat with last-man gameplay. Battle royal games require dozens to hundreds of players starting with minimal equipment and then removing all other opponents while avoiding being stuck outside a diminishing "safe place" where the winner is

3. Fortnite Battle Royale

Fortnite Battle Royale didn't take long to become an icon of modern day. It blurred the gaming-mainstream entertainment line-up. If the founder of the BR genre was PUBG, Fortnite took it to unparalleled heights. If the primary metric of this list was success, then Fortnite would comfortably sit on top right. It took PUBG's fundamentals and made some quirky and creative additions that just catapulted it far beyond its inspiration.

Players can gather resources from the surrounding environment that feature building mechanics to allow them to create structures. You can build these structures to defend yourself, help your fallen comrades recover, obtain a point of view, or just build them for fun! Not without its recent share of issues, Epic Games has faced the wrath of many of its fans.

However, in this fast-paced environment, it has also made some great strides within the culture to keep itself very relevant.
Just take a look at the recently concluded virtual concert by Travis Scott ‘Astronomical.’

2. Call of Duty Warzone

Warzone was an immediate and huge success, the most recent mainstream entry into the genre. Within the first month of release it gathered over 50 million players. It also attracted many other fans other than the devoted and faithful CoD fans because of what it offered-an arcade-style FPS Battle Royale.

The huge map and battlefield of 150 players really make for a chaotic warzone. Managing a win is an absolute fantasy that any player pursues and it doesn't get easy at all. The maiden venture of Infinity Ward into the genre also has some unique features such as Gulag and Bounty Contracts which just add to the fun.

Playing this game will be a challenge if you don't already have CoD Modern Warfare, as it will take up to 100 GB of HDD without the parent game. It's certainly worth it though. You leap into the warzone and before you know it, you'll be hooked.

Developers have struggled at times to keep up with their users' demands and desires, but one thing is for sure — they are attentive and willing to do their best to make the experience enjoyable. Sadly, hackers are a big problem for unskilled novices like me; and there is no shortage of those in Warzone.

1. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, or simply PUBG, must be in the top position when naming the top 3 games of the Battle Royale. A game that focuses more on a more practical design and gameplay than most others, it challenges squads to strategize and live through to the end. You get the chicken dinner if you do, so that's the best thing.. Right?

Sadly the brilliance of the title has been stripped away by an unprecedented flood of hackers and problems. In recent times developers have been lax too.

But numbers aside, even though it wasn't exactly the first Battle Royale title, PUBG inspired an entire ecosystem of Battle Royale games. You may argue that he was the founder of what is a billion-dollar industry today.

So you go, our list of top 3 Royale fight titles for you to enjoy while sitting at home. We have definitely overlooked titles that rank among your favourites, but the sheer number of titles under this category makes it difficult for all to cater for. It does not mean that we do not love to hear and rethink from you. Make a fair statement and my editors are likely to raise their eyebrows

I'll be knee-deep in a warzone before then, looking for the elusive maiden win.
